Bantam Rep Sweep Dresden
The South Kent Lightning (Taco Bell) Bantam Reps have swept the Dresden Jr. Kings in three games straight to move onto the B Pool for Shamrock Hockey league playoffs.  Their first two games were won by a single goal but the final game had a 4 point lead.

In Feb 21st game, Aiden Rigby's hat trick and assist played a big part in winning the game, with other goals by Carter Gates and Kolby Caughy.  Mac Anderson earned 4 assists, and Trent Decook and Cory Beecroft each earned one.  Dresden was only able to get one by James Larsh as the Lightning locked in their spot in the B Pool with a 5-1 win.
 
The previous week, they had two games, the first on Sat, Feb 15th when the Lightning travelled to Dresden for the 2nd game.  With neither team scoring in the first period, but both scoring 3 goals in the second, it made the third period an exciting one. Carter Gates scored the winning goal and they held off Dresden to win it.  Other goal scorers Mac Anderson, Trent Decook and Aiden Rigby, who also had an assist.  Other assists were made by Jamie Pynenbrouck, Kolby Caughy and Quinn Pickering.  South Kent won 4-3 in the second game of the series.
 
The game that began the series was played on Friday, Feb 14th where Jamie Pynenbrouck scored the overtime winning goal with a backhanded shot over the goalie's shoulder into the top corner of the net, unassisted.  The other two goals were scored by Kolby Caughy and Cory Beecroft.  James Mifflin and Cam Wellington both earned assists. South Kent won 3-2.
 
The Bantam Reps now wait for the other three teams in the B Pool to finish their other series to begin the next level of playoffs.
