Kimberley’s boys in blue welcomed the Mooretown Orange Flags
to Blenheim on Saturday evening.
The boys were a little too welcoming, allowing Player #11 to score in the first 16 seconds of the game, and then again 2 more times before the end of the period. Every team has off nights, and this one was undoubtedly ours. The end result was a 6-0 loss. We will get another shot to defeat the only team in our league that we haven’t been able to next week.
Prior to the game we talked about all sorts of life altering topics which included but were not limited; to the proper use of semi-colons in writing, how to efficiently remove ice from the common household ice tray and effective domestic pigeon feeding techniques. As usual Trainer Mike led the pregame Zumba session and the intensity level was epic!
Our next week is going to be intense as we will be playing our final 4 games of the season in 5 days starting with a Road Game on Thursday in Mooretown vs. the Black Flags at 6:40pm. It is crazy to believe that the hockey season is almost over I am really going to miss this incredible group. Until then..
