Rumors Become Reality
Atom Sobeys Lightning faced off against the Mooretown White in the first of two games these teams will play together and the rumors are correct.  Mooretown Whites have one player on their team that stands well beyond the rest of the league in skill and domination.

Coming into this game the Mooretown White were 11 wins, 0 Losses, 1 Tie. While the Sobeys Lightning were 8 Wins, 1 Loss and 1 Tie.   By all accounts it was expected to be a high scoring game.   The lightning won the first period with 10 Shots to Mooretown’s 5  and #2 Paiton Desangher scored the game’s opener with  an assist from #3 Vincent Vaughan in the last 2 minutes. However the roles were reversed in the second with Mooretown getting 8 shots to the Lightning’s 5 and Mooretown’s #11 JareDupuis scoring at will 5 times with 1 assist going to #9 Shane Knight .
In the third the Lightning once again dominated getting 13 shots against Mooretown’s 9 and both teams traded goals with #17 Aston Clark scoring unassisted at 8.01 and #3 Vincent Vaughan scoring at 5.42 with #10 Colin Day getting the assist.  #11 JareDupuis scored 2 more unassisted goals for Mooretown.
 #1 Logan Fraser played great in goal for the Lightning but it was #12 Danielle Leque that seemed to be all over the ice and was the Player of the Game.
