Atom AE, 2019-2020 (South Kent Minor Hockey)

Hi Everyone. I would like to have the players arrive at practice at 3:15 today if possible.  The coaches plan to talk some game with the players and hand out some home work sheets.  Hope to see everyone there to shake off the rust.  Thanks, Matt.   

I am happy to report that most of the team has confirmed attendance for tomorrow night's Porch light campaign.  We will meet at the parking lot between the arena and pool tomorrow night at 6pm to be given our area of town to cover.  Have the kids dress warm and I will bring jerseys for them to pull over top.  I expect to be a couple of hours going door to door as a group or in a couple of groups.  See everyone tomorrow. Hi everyone. Practice on Friday has changed to 7:30 in Blenhiem.  I was hoping this later time slot would allow the kids to watch the Christmas parade as a group.  I am planning on being at the arena at 6:15 and walking over to Giant tiger to catch the start at 6:30.  Hope to see everyone there. South Kent is putting on a porch light campaign in Blenheim the evening of Tuesday December 10th. Hockey has brought us together and I feel that this is a great way for the team to bond and give back to the community.  We hope to work along with other South Kent members to canvas the entire town of Blenheim and collect non perishable food, hats and mitts, and toiletries for the Christmas hamper program.  We are looking for volunteers to bring groups of kids around town for a couple hours.  Let's show off our Christmas spirit Lightning style!
