Good evening team,
Just wanted to take a moment to speak about how proud I am of this team and the character which was shown on the ice tonight. With the amount of penalties and unsportsmanlike calls including an ejection, our players could have reacted very differently and retaliated to each. however they showed tremendous restraint and decided to answer on the scoreboard. In speaking with the referees after the game they congratulated our team for the amount of discipline we showed and decision to just play our game.

The coaching staff and I have had a focus all year on retaliation penalties and not getting caught up in the heat of an exchange on the ice and it truly showed tonight.
Once again can’t express how proud we are of this team and the direction we’ve been building too!
