U13 C, SHAMROCK, 2022-2023 (South Kent Minor Hockey)

We've made some additions to our team. I'd like to thank Matt Hall for joining us as our Trainer and Assistant Coach and Robert Glenn as Manager and Parent Liaison. Along with Adam Wilmer, I believe we have a great staff and look forward to working with them for a successful season.     I would also like to congratulate RJ Kuiper and welcome him in joining our team full time, well deserved! Always tough for coaches picking our teams especially with the effort everyone showed in tryouts. Our AP's will be a big help and I'm confident they will meet the challenge when called upon this season. 

There will be a team meeting after Saturdays practice upstairs at the arena to discuss tournaments, medical forms, our goals and expectations for the team, and to answer any other questions. AP players and parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend as they are part of our team. If parents could also get onto the Sportsheadz app and request to join our team site.

 Another great game against a good opponent with a positive outcome for us. Thanks Mustangs for making the trip and good luck this season. A great effort by everyone has made the coaches decision very difficult. We have yet to decide what the final size of our roster will be and probably will have to test ourselves in league play before we really can make that decision. We will name our first 10 players to the team and we hoped to have the others as AP's (affiliate players) if they accept the opportunity which means you are invited to all practices and will also play in a number of games for ...

    We had a very exciting game last night with the U12 Kent Cobra AA's. Thanks to Chatham for accepting the invitation and we hope to do it again, I'm sure they'd like a chance to get that one back. It was a good chance for the coaches to test out everyone trying out and get a better idea for our final roster. Unfortunately everyone won't be moving on, but you can be proud of the effort that got you this far.

     I first want to thank everyone who showed up for our team tryouts. Everyone should be very proud of their effort. The coaches and evaluators were very impressed how hard everyone worked and never gave up when faced with some tough challenges, it showed some real character.
