The South Kent Lightning Bantam team, sponsored by Sinteris, won Silver in this weekend’s tournament in Muskoka.
There was some great hockey played starting Friday night against Muskoka Rocks, with a loss of 1-0. Saturday started with a win over Kawartha Coyotes 9-1, then no score versus Shallow Lake Lakers. Sunday they played 3 games, the first being a win of 2-1 over Hagersville Hawks, then 3-2 win over Shelburne Wolves to bring them to the Championship round to face Millbrook Stars. Unfortunately the Lightning couldn’t get on the board and brought home the silver with a final score of 3-0. Well played team!
