Ronny "Tuukka" Betterley Fundraiser

As most of you now know, young Ronny Betterley and his family received some terrible news last week as he was diagnosed with DIPG. We are reaching out to the South Kent community asking for your support. If you have a child involved with South Kent Minor Hockey, it is guaranteed that through all their hard work the Betterley's have helped your child. Now is our time to reciprocate.

One way to do so is to contribute to this fundraiser.

The primary aim of this fundraiser is to provide enough financial support to allow Ronny to experience the things he would love to do during this difficult time of his life. Secondly, to provide financial assistance to the Betterley family while they make daily trips to London for Ronny's treatments.

Primary Goal - Boston Trip

With the help of some new friends with some hockey connections, Ronny's extended family has planned a special trip to Boston to catch a Bruins game and hopefully be treated to a VIP experience. Our job is to make sure he gets to go at no cost to the family.

If you wish to make a contribution to this fundraiser and show your support for Ronny and his family, you can make a donation at:

  • CIBC in Blenheim or Ridgetown OR contact one of the following
  • Wilma Boersma @ 519-365-5981
  • Evan Merritt @519-401-6086
  • Jason Ramboer @519-784-7799

Any funds raised over and above the cost of this trip will be used to allow Ronny to do some of the other things he may like to experience. Anything over and above that will be donated to a charity of the Betterley's choice.

Thank you in advance for your support!
