Game 2 of 2 On Saturday Afternoon
After destroying a couple of pizza's and the arena's supply of Blue Gatorade the team took the ice again an hour later looking for their 2nd W of the day.

The Lightning of South Kent team 3 used their secret weapon in this game against the visiting Southwest Bullets. With Eric Romano unavailable for the double header, coach Kalp made a few changes. Ashton Clark would be flown in after her morning game in Wallaceburg on the teams private Jet, Daniel Rodgers would patrol the blue line and Trenton DeCook would make his first ever Atom start between the Red Posts as the tender for this matinee. Just 4 minutes into the first when Jackson Kalp would get the puck back to Rodgers, he would walk in and lay a top cheese shot into the back of the net, Aidan Barnes would draw the other assist. With just over 2 minutes to go Cooper Minnie would take a nice feed from Aidan Osborne and tee up a beauty one timer, Jacob "Worker of the Game" Hamilton would cash in at the net to put the team up 2-0 after the first period. Fatigue would start to linger as the Bullets out worked us for most of the second period. They would get 2 behind Trenton before Jackson Kalp would take an Aidan Barnes pass and go bar down on the tender, Ashton would draw the additional assist on the play. Heading into the 3rd period Liam Davies would hook up with Jack Tinline and what a Passsssss, across the crease through 3 sets of legs where Sipple would bury the 4th goal for the home team. Moments later Aidan B would hook up with Kalp on a give and go, Barnes would find the back of the net as his stick is starting to warm up for his team. Final scoring play of the night would see Devin Lackie and his little bro Conner would hook up with Tinline and what a release he got off, his stick was flexing like Phil "the Thrill" Kessel. Final Score of this game was 6-3 for the home team.
