Team ONE returned to Blenheim to take in a game vs. The West
Lorne Black Comets.
Brady Pook made his first start as our back-up goalie and Brady Depencier played his first game out in 3 years. The game was a complete opposite of the one played the night before. We couldn’t buy a good bounce and we didn’t seem to have our legs, in the end we lost 6-2. In a completely unselfish move, Alex volunteered to give Brady D his shift at the end of the game as it will be his last of the regular season and his last as a skater for the year. Alex is not only in the conversation for most improved this year, he is a standout for most sportsmanlike player. Way to go Alex! The 2 goals we did score were by JP in the first 30 seconds of the game and Colin in the last 2 minutes of the game (Colin’s was assisted by Carter)
Our next game is on Saturday January 16 at 10:30am in Glencoe. Until then..
