Getting Closer
Try as they might, Sobeys Atom LL1 team could not bring down
the undefeated Wallaceburg Lakers.
The boys had their hands full but stepped up to the challenge but Wallaceburg wouldn't let up, winning 4-2. Alex and Ricky Falkiner, Zach Thompson, Isaac Johnson, Carter Gates& Parker Collins all did a great job helping out centremen Colin Day & Jamie Pynenbrouck. Our defensemen, James Mifflin, Owen Ramboer, Brady Pook & Robert Cummings all had shots on net and still managed to help our goalie Brady Depencier who was his usual self stopping many shots on net. Scoring both goals for SouthKent Lightning was Jamie Pynenbrouck, with help from Owen Ramboer and Parker Collins on one of them. Atom LL1's plays 2 games this weekend, both in Blenheim. The boys all did a tremendous job.
