Novice Rep Game Recap
The South Kent Novice Rep team earned their first point of the season with a 3-3 tie against the Dorchester Dragons.

After falling behind 3-0 early in the third period the visiting Lightning made a furious comeback scoring 3 unanswered goals in a span of 7 minutes to earn the tie. Paiton Desangher got the ball rolling scoring on a long wrist shot assisted by Darric Brown. Defenceman Vincent Vaughan brought the Lightning to within one with a shot from the blueline that eluded the Dorchester netminder. Brown was credited with his second assist on Vaughan's goal. Just over two minutes later Aiden Campbell jumped on a loose puck in front of the Dragons net and buried his first regular season goal to tie the game. Assists went to Vincent Vaughan and Sam Knowler. Griffyn Taylor and Russell Vaughan shared the goaltending duties for the Lightning, both making big saves to keep the game within reach. Lightning player of the game honours went to Vincent Vaughan.
