Novice Rep Lightning Results
After a tough month of October, with a record of 1-5-1, the Novice Rep Lightning are slowly starting to gain momentum in November. Through 4 games in November the team has posted a 2-1-1 record.

The Lightning began the month earning a 3-3 tie on the road against the East Lambton Eagles. Nolan Mallory, Ali Altiman, and Paiton Desangher were the goal scorers. Luke Holmes was player of the game.
South Kent next travelled to Strathroy losing 5-2. Goaltenders Griffyn Taylor and Russell Vaughan were impressive in the net keeping the score respectable. Mallory and Altiman once again led the Lightning offence scoring for the second game in a row. Taylor was selected as the player of the game.
The following evening the team travelled to Dresden for a match against the Kings. Morgan Paine scored his first two goals of the season and added an assist leading the Lightning to a 3-1 victory. Paiton Desangher scored the other goal. The Kings broke Taylor and Vaughan's shutout bid with just .3 seconds remaining in the game. Paine was rewarded with the player of the game honours.
Next up for the Novice Reps was an exhibition game against the Southpoint Novice Select team. South Kent proved to be much too strong for the Capitals who were playing their first game of the season. Every skater on the Lightning recorded at least one point and the team earned its second shutout of the season.
The team next travels to Aylmer for their first tournament of the season. The Lightning open against Ilderton on Friday and then face Delhi on Saturday.
