At our most recent Board meeting, the formation of a U11 second entry Rep team was approved. This team will play in the Shamrock Tier 3 league and will have a tryout process that takes place after the U11 Rep B team is chosen. Similar to U9 MD 1 and MD 2, this allows for the development of a larger pool of players who wish to play competitive hockey. Players must attend the U11 Rep B tryouts in order to be considered for the U11 second entry team. We will accept coaching applications for this U11 second entry team until 24 hours after the conclusion of the U11 Rep team tryouts to again allow all interested parties to come forward. Update regarding U9 MD regular season ice times
The Board firmly believes that development happens with well structured practices. To facilitate this development, the plan is to have an 80 minute practice Tuesday in Bothwell from 4:30-6:00 pm that will be shared between MD1 and MD2. The current plan is to have individual team practices early Wednesday evening in Blenheim. Game times will be Saturday afternoon in Blenheim.
These early evening practices will allow for a consistent evening routine for players as well as adequate rest.
