2nd Annual Blenheim Porch Light Campaign
Submitted By System Admin on Sunday, November 24, 2019
SKMHA players and parents.  Do you have an hour or 2 of your time to donate to help families in need this Christmas?

If so, please let Pam Blackburn know by emailing [email protected]

In pairs of 2 with a parent chaperone, you will be assigned an area of town to cover.  You will go door to door collecting donations for the Christmas Hamper Program to help families in need in our community this Christmas.  Please see event details below.
Tuesday, December 10th - please leave your porch light on!  Starting at 6pm we will attempt to cover the entire town of Blenheim collecting donations for the Christmas Hamper Program on behalf of the Blenheim Ministerial Association.  In partnership with Blenheim Chevrolet and South Kent Minor Hockey, we will be collecting non perishable food, toys, hats and mitts, and toiletry items for local families in need this Christmas.
Last year a local hockey team set out to bring joy to those in need at Christmas.  We found a joy that came to all of us when we gave a little of our time to help others.  We found a joy in witnessing the outpouring of support and the generosity of our community.  And we found the knowledge of an overwhelming need in our very own community.
The event can be accessed on FB by clicking this link.
