Rogers Hometown Hockey - Call for Ball Hockey Teams
Rogers Hometown Hockey Festival is coming to Chatham Dec 15th-16th.  (Same weekend as the Woodley/Hoskins Tournament)  They are looking for Ball Hockey teams to participate in a series of friendly exhibition games.  If coaches / parents / players are interested please contact your coach.  Who in turn is asked to contact Shawn Allen with teams and players info.

They do not have to be full teams if only some of the players are available.  Rogers will try to include as many teams as they can so everyone can get the experience.

Details are as follows:

Teams will get to play a scheduled 20-30 minute ball hockey game against similar skilled opposition on the ball hockey rink at the festival site.  Games will be scheduled on either the Saturday or Sunday afternoon.  Games are meant to be fun, not competitive, and could possibly have some of the NHL alumni or junior players present at the festival included.

Players should wear their team jerseys and bring their own equipment.  We will forward the information to Rogers and they will be doing all the scheduling.

There is also open public play on the rink during most of the festival hours with some equipment available on site.

IMPORTANT – There’s a separate ball hockey experience run by both Dodge and Scotiabank that’s organized independently from us.   You are welcome to do both, just don’t confuse the two experiences.

If you or your child is interested in participating in this free event, please contact your coach.  Coaches please reach out to Shawn with your informaton.

thanks
