Novice Rep Tryout #2 Summary and Results
Tryout #2 is now in "the books", and once again all the kids were giving it their best effort. There were a couple of tough decisions made last night and still a couple more to make Friday night.
The following is a list of the players who will move on to the next Novice Rep Tryout #3 taking place on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 5pm in Blenheim:

Please Note:
With tryouts culminating on Friday, I will be meeting with each player and their parent after the tryout to let them know if they made the team or not. If it is the latter, I will also be giving any advice that is welcomed on how I feel the player can improve.
With all of the young athletes competing as hard as what they are out there, I do have one request for all of the parents, and that is to please make sure your child's skates are sharp so your child can display their skills effectively. There were a few tears on the last ice session due to frustration over losing edges out on the ice, and when they are giving it "their all" out there to try to earn a spot on the team, the last thing anyone wants is to have regret over something like a dull edge.
Can't wait to see who rises to the challenge on Friday!
