Graphic Emporium Novice LL1 Tournament Finalists
South Kent 1 Graphic Emporium Novice team travelled to Simcoe this past weekend to play in the Marci Cook Memorial Tournament.
South Kent went 3-0 in their round robin play in pool B and earned a semi-final match-up against the Langton Leafs from pool A. South Kent would beat Langton 6-4 and play Coldwater Wildcats in the final who were also 4-0 and were winning their games by an average of 5.5 goals per game. South Kent played very well against a much older and stronger Coldwater team. Taking a 1-1 tie into the third period, South Kent would eventually run out of gas giving up 2 in the third for a 3-1 final.
Congratulations to South Kent 1 for a great tournament and disappointing absolutely no one by being the Marci Cook Memorial Tournament Finalists! Way to go LL1!!!
