Peewee's drop their Second in a row, loosing to Wallaceburg
The Southkent lightning had their home opener Sat and hosted Wallaceburg. The game started off close but Wallaceburg pulled away, winning 6-1. Evan White made his season debut in net after he was cleared to play from a sprained ankle. Evan made many saves to keep the score close.
The first period was Southkent's best in this young season as they battled to a 1-1 tie. The score sheet had Josh Wolf scoring Southkents first goal of the season, unassisted. After the game this was reviewed and it was determined that Josh was on the bench at the time of the goal, thus unable to score. Jake Legue was credited with the goal as he replayed the event in the room for everyone to see.
The boys continued to work hard throughout the game and practice and hope for a better result this Saturday against West Lorne.
