Two More Ties for the Bantam Reps
South  Kent Lightning Bantam Reps (Taco Bell) have come away with back to back ties to leave their record now at 3-4-4.

On November 1st, the team travelled to Alvinston to take on the East Lambton Eagles.  The Eagles came on strong in the first period and scored early on, with the second period blanked.  Third period was Lightning's turn when Jamie Pynenbrouck put one away midway through the period, assisted by Cam Wellington.

On November 8th, the team hosted Wallaceburg Lakers in Ridgetown with a similar outcome.  Both teams were hungry for goals, but both played incredibly both offensively and defensively leaving little room for opportunity in the first period.  The second however was action packed.  Cory Beecroft scored early in the second, assisted by Kolby Caughy and a couple minutes later, Jamie Pynenbrouck followed suit with help from Braydon Segeren and Derek Schieman.  Only 10 seconds later, Beecroft scored another, this time assisted by Caughy and Aiden Rigby.  The Lakers weren't giving up that easy as less then a minute later, they scored their first.  Early in the third, the Lakers put another one away to catch up and South Kent held their lead until 4:50 when the Lakers tied it up on a power play.  Both teams skate away with only a point each.

This coming week, they face South Huron Sabres before the Rising Stars Tournament.
