TIE GAMES FOR THE TACO BELL BANTAM REPS
Daniel Rodger started this week's games on a high note with his first shut out of the season, with thanks to a great defensive team.

Collectively, the South Kent Lightning Bantam Reps played two amazing games this past week. On Thursday, the team travelled to Dorchester to face the Dragons but neither team could put one away, ending the game in a tie.

On Friday, Mt. Brydges' Cougars took on the Lightning in the Ridgetown barn in an action packed game.  With only 37 seconds left in the first period, the Cougars opened up the scoring.  Early in the second, Jamie Pynenbrouck passed back to defenseman Aiden Rigby for the first SK goal.    Halfway through the second, the Cougars went ahead, but a minute later, Derek Schieman passed one up to Pynenbrouck who back handed it to Braydon Segeren.  Segeren then backhanded it past the goalie to once again tie it up.  The Cougars weren't done yet as they got the go-ahead goal around the 9-minute mark in the third period.  But with only 4 minutes left, Cam Wellington fed a pass to Segeren who found Rigby open for his 2nd goal of the night.

The Lightning Bantam Reps earned 2 points for the ties, and go into this week facing Ilderton Jets in Ilderton followed by the South Huron Sabres in the Ridgetown arena on Friday at 7 pm.  Come on out and watch some great teamwork.
