Good morning all,
Hopefully everyone survived the sugar rush of Halloween last night.
Reminder about our game tonight - Ridgetown 6pm vs Dresden White.
Please ensure your athletes are at the arena in adequate time to change and allow for a game preparation talk 5 mins before we take the ice.
Additionally we ask that all athletes wear a collar shirt, pants and shoes for games.
In speaking with the coaching staff regarding last weekend, I've learned we had a tough loss and a tight win against a couple of strong teams.
My apologies for some of us coaches needing to be away, this is a busy time of year in our professions and we are needed away frequently. I am looking forward to our schedules calming down soon and being even further engaged with our team.
Thank you to the coaching staff (Dan, Pete, Jason, Steve and Tonya) that we do have in place, to ensure all coach positions are continuously filled and meaningful lessons are exchanged.
I believe we are progressing fairly well as a team (in a 3 way tie for first place in our division). We have identified some things that our athletes do really well and some other areas which we look to address/correct in the coming practices (off sides, break out, cover in front of our net, attacking rebounds). We will get through these deficiencies and continue to improve.
It has been noted by the players that we could use a bit more noise from our fans - there is an open call for all noise makers (bells, horns, sirens) for tonight's game...!
