Weekend Update
Good evening all,
Quick recap to our first hockey weekend of the season. We are off to a decent start capturing our first 2 wins of the year!
The coaching staff were pleased with the starting effort by our athletes and have collectively identified several key areas that we will be addressing during the coming practices.
In an effort to keep all informed, the primary focus of the coming practices will be to address and correct positioning, to explore line configurations and position allocations.
This is being looked at to maximize the talents we see within our players. These types of assessments require some trial and error. We are hoping to have these combinations identified soon so that our athletes have plenty of time to acclimate to their positions and line mates for the remainder of the season. We ask for your support and patience during this key learning phase for our team.
Practice - Monday (tomorrow) in Ridgetown at 7:30pm. Please ensure your athlete has time to be fully dressed and ready 5 minutes before we take the ice. We strive to provide the players an overview of the coming practice to aid in efficiency with ice time.
IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT UPDATE
Rise Up Cup in Mooretown - Nov 15-17.
Registration has to be payed in full by Oct 15th = $950
Please arrange to drop payment ($60) with Coach Dan Snary prior to this date.

Again - a really good start to the season, with continued hard work we can move our team forward and allow for a great season for them. Much more good stuff to come!
