I would also like parents to ask the kids about numbers they would like on their jerseys. The numbers are from 1 to 18 and if they could pick 3 favorites I will try to accommodate as many as possible. Jerseys will be kept together in the locker for the year but we will keep jersey numbers for the year.

For our games I would like to set a team policy to be at the room 45 minutes before game time. If everyone has a few minutes after practice tomorrow the coaching staff will layout our expectations for our pregame routine. Throughout the year we will be encouraging the kids to put on their own equipment and promote independence.
Picture day has been scheduled for Wednesday October 18th at 6:30 at Ridgetown arena. I will pass out order forms at tomorrow's practice and attach a copy to this article. From experience skate guards are an asset for making the trip up the stairs for pictures. There is a 15 minute window allotted for our team so any help to make it a smooth process is appreciated.
We will be posting a form looking for volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets at our home games.
Anyone who knows they will be absent from a game or practice can message or email me so I can plan ahead.
There are a couple of polls posted on the main south kent site. One is about if there is interest in making a select team to play additional games and practices. The other poll asks about switching novice hockey next year to half ice games like recently implemented in tyke. Please take the time to share your voice on these matters.
