The South Kent Lightning Atom 3 had a great start to the season.
The HPG line of Hamilton, Parney and Gourley, along with the KJH line of Knowler, Jamieson and Hill supplied a great offensive attack. The HPS line of Howe, Paiment and Stoner showed some real grit in shutting down the opponents.
Our defense all had stellar nights including Decook, Minnie, Warwick and Pickering. They were amazing at both ends of the rink.
Our superb goaltending effort by Vidler earned him his first career atom shutout.
He made some great saves when the team needed him.
We look forward to going on the road trip next weekend and battling hard.
