Atom Home Run earn the Win against Southwest
The atom home run team hosted Southwest in Blenheim sat morning. Last game was played to a 0-0 tie, this time Southkent took the contest 9-3. The scoring came early and often as the team showed it's team game and passed the puck around. Evan White was solid in net, earning the victory.
The atom home run team scored in the first and looked to run away with this one, but Southwest answered back, evening up the score at 1-1. Scoring for Southkent was James Larsh, assisting was Dylan DeBrouwer and Laurel Johnston. The second period was when things took off for Home Run, scoring 5 goals and only allowing 1. Scoring for Southkent were James (3), Laurel, and Ethan McClenaghan. Collecting assists were James, Aiden Osbourne, Laurel, Brennen Dodman, Ricky and Alex Faulkiner.
Southkent added 3 more in the third to finish the scoring at 9-3. Scoring for The Home Run were Trent Smith, Josh Wolf and Brennen. Dylan earned 2 assists.
The kids passed the puck around and kept their feet moving all game, earning this victory in front of the home crowd.
