Blades of Steel Tournament Results
The Novice AE team participated in the Blades of Steel Tournament hosted by SKMHA this weekend.
The team played their best hockey of the season going undefeated in their division games. A 5-2 win in the opening game against Wallaceburg gave the boys a much needed boost of confidence. They carried that confidence into game #2 against Erie North Shore resulting in a 7-2 victory. The final division game saw the team matched up against Tecumseh. Once again the boys worked extra hard and were rewarded with a 4-3 win, setting up a semi-final match against Petrolia. It was an exciting game that saw the teams tied at 3-3 after regulation time ended. The teams traded chances in overtime, but Petrolia eventually scored the winner. The coaches are extremely proud of the boys efforts this weekend. They did a fantastic job representing SKMHA in the tournament.
