WEST-LORNE REMATCH
After falling down two early goals to the West-Lorne Comets last Saturday night at home, the Kimberly Hearing Lightning went into West-Lorne on Friday October 26th looking to avoid another flat start.

So the Lightning came out guns a blazing and quickly jumped out to a 2-0 lead when #16 Jacob Hamilton and #7 Sam Knowler scored 38 seconds and 58 seconds into the game.  The Comets tried hard to recover scoring 90 seconds later when # Jackson Dietrich took a sweet pass from linemate # 6 Lucas Collier but Lightning center #13 Camden Blackburn restored the two goal lead at 5:43.  Lightning goalie # 1 Lucas Vidler  was on his game and the defensive pairings of #2 Drew Rumble / #12 Logan Frazer and #6 Ryelly Hill / #5 Josh Flemington never aloud any odd man rushes until 2:11 left in the first when Comet forward #2 Liam Slaats scored unassisted . The teams settled down for the second and third periods as the Lightning scored the only goal in the second at 6:23 by #17 Eric Romano and assisted by #14Lukin Paiment and #5 Josh Flemington. With 2:45 left in the third, Lightning Defenseman #6 Ryelly Hill picked up a loose puck in his zone, circled  around his defense partner and up the right side, slipping one check after the other and then moving East to West across in front of the West-Lorne goal and roofing a shot giving the Lightning a commanding 5-2 lead. However, that lead was short lived as West-Lorne provided their own “Tic-Tac_Goal!!!!!” play at 2:11 to round out the scoring.  The final Score was Lightning 5 – Comets 3
